Hangman Page was the unexpected reason behind Jay White’s loss to Christian Cage during this week’s airing of AEW Dynamite.
The Wednesday main event saw a face-off between Cage and White. Page, however, made a discreet appearance, hiding close to the ring’s apron.
As the match approached its apex, Kip Sabian diverted the referee’s attention providing the perfect cover for Page to impact White with the Buckshot Lariat. Consequently, Cage emerged as the winner.
The intervention by Page was a retaliation act since he was beaten by White at the WrestleDream 2024 on the previous Saturday.
