Following the WWE Bad Blood 2024 event, Kevin Owens launched a devastating attack on Cody Rhodes. Additionally, during the last episode of WWE SmackDown, he laid Randy Orton low in a parking lot altercation.
In a video shared on Twitter recently, Owens opened up about the incidents with Cody and Randy.
Owens voiced his opinion in the video, alleging that he believes WWE is trying to muzzle him. He feels that they are preventing him from sharing his viewpoint on the recent confrontations.
The friction appears to stem from Cody’s decision to join forces with Roman Reigns at the WWE Bad Blood 2024 event, a decision which Orton also supported.
Owens conveyed, “Ever since Bad Blood there’s been a lot of questions about why I did what I did to Cody. A lot of judgments too, many people are judging me for my actions. Despite my desire to explain my actions and voice my thoughts, WWE doesn’t seem to want to let that happen. They’ve tried to suppress me, barring me from SmackDown, and even telling me to stay home last Friday, which I ignored. Despite my efforts to be heard, they’ve taken numerous measures to ensure I’m silenced.”
Owens didn’t stop there, he also said, “Over the past weekend, I sent them a video which I hoped they’d broadcast on Raw – this never happened. Thus, no one heard my side of the story, but Cody had plenty of air time. I genuinely loathe resorting to social media for this, but I will give them until this Friday’s WWE SmackDown to air the video. If they fail to do so, I’ll resort to posting it online myself.”
