Professional wrestler Bronson Reed recently appeared on the “Insight” podcast to talk about notable muscle-bound wrestlers who influenced his career.

Here are some of the podcast’s main takeaways:

When asked about the icons who affected his career trajectory, Reed said, “I study the careers of many great wrestlers. I was influenced by greats like Vader and Bam Bam. And also some more recent wrestlers like Samoa Joe played a significant role during my formative years.”

Reflecting upon his opinions about Mark Henry, Reed mentioned, “I really admired Mark Henry’s approach to wrestling. I’m keen to follow his lead by ensuring that my style of wrestling retains its unique, violent edge.”

Former WWE Champion Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal), lately talked to “PWInsider Elite,” where he talked about how he capitalized on his stage time with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson during WWE RAW Day 1.

Below are some highlights from their discussion:

Dhesi described his WWE Raw Day 1 interaction with The Rock as, “You work with what you get, and that’s precisely my thought process during the segment with The Rock. I was not even considering returning. At that juncture, my management role for Indus Sher on Main Event was significant for me. There wasn’t any roadmap for me to have a match against Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship later on. The promo ran smoothly and attracted love from online audiences and social media. The momentum shaped the trajectory towards that title match.”

On the subject of his return to the independent wrestling arena, he added, “My career kickstarted from the independents. And when the time comes to hang my boots, I’ll likely end my journey back in the independents.”

Dhesi had previously parted ways with WWE in April.
