AEW TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone, hasn’t been in the ring with Natalya for quite some time now, regardless, she always upholds her profound respect for the Canadian wrestler, crediting Natalya as a luminary of the industry.
Natalya, penned her presence in the WWE scene in 2008 and has bagged numerous accolades, including the most number of wins and matches for a female Superstar.
Recently, Mercedes Mone, in the “Mone Mag” newsletter, expressed her profound admiration for the most experienced female artist in WWE. With all due respect, she mentioned,
“Beginning with Natalya, unquestionably, a legend in the truest sense. She has been wrestling longer than I have, and her contributions in shaping multiple careers, including my own, are remarkable. During my earliest dark matches and my initial NXT bouts – Natalya was there, always. I vividly remember sharing the ring with her, and she would subtly say things like – ‘You’re doing superbly’ or ‘Brilliant work,’ and to me, her kind words meant the universe.
Those moments of slight yet impactful encouragement, they always remain with you. Every time I step into the ring with novices, I endeavor to radiate that same motivating energy. It’s all about grooming the confidence because trust me, we’ve all trodden that path.”
Natalya made a comeback to WWE TV a month ago by teaming up with Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria against the Pure Fusion Collective.
She took a break for almost three months prior to this comeback. A former Divas Champion herself, Natalya has since renewed her contract with WWE.
