Last week, Anthony Henry made public that he will be temporarily stepping away from the wrestling ring due to a bicep tear. This injury was clocked in during a recent AEW Collision match, where he went head-to-head with Gabe Kidd for the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.
Henry previously announced his intention to undergo surgery to address the injury.
In an update shared through his Twitter handle, Henry confirmed that the surgical procedure was a success. His message read,
“Surgery was successful. Now it’s time to recovery.”
