The champion duo of AEW World Tag Team, The Young Bucks, announced that they will be coming back to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Their return is expected at the 2025 Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view event.
The announcement was made during the King Of Pro-Wrestling 2024 event of NJPW, where the Bucks expressed their excitement for their return to the wrestling promotion they once called home.
The Young Bucks have a long history with New Japan, where they were active participants for many years. Their last match under this promotion took place at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January 2019.
The awaited Wrestle Dynasty event is to be held on January 5, 2025, following one day after NJPW WrestleKingdom 19. Both wrestling extravaganzas will be hosted in the Tokyo Dome.
The AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 event was where the announcement of the Wrestle Dynasty show was made. The event is set to feature wrestling talent from various promotions including AEW, New Japan, ROH, STARDOM, and CMLL.
