After his thrilling win at AEW WrestleDream 2024, Brian Cage, newly crowned Ring of Honor World TV Champion, has declared a fresh label for himself. His win, against Atlantis Jr. at the Zero Hour starting bout, resulted in Cage taking the championship, concluding the former champion’s reign of 106 days.
Post his victory announcement, Cage expressed satisfaction over the result as he defeated Atlantis, who wasn’t an ROH regular, to win the title. Keeping his unique signature style, he coined a new title for himself, taking the mic, he announced,
“Take a look at that! I told you, I told you Atlantis Jr., you had something that didn’t belong to you. Because you don’t even go here! And I was going to correct that and that’s exactly what I did. I came and I claimed my prize. The new ROH TV Champion! The new king of TV!”
Cage’s impressive wrestler’s portfolio includes prior victories as the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion and also as the as former Impact World and X-Division Champion. His latest win, which took place on September 21st via ROH TV, was against Alec Price. Cage’s last AEW win was a trio battle in August which trended quite well.
