The day’s question is “Who do you believe will emerge victorious in all of the matches at AEW WrestleDream 2024?”
Don’t forget to leave your predictions in the comment section below.
Here’s what I think…
[Zero Hour] ROH World Television Championship Match: Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. Brian Cage
While my recent knowledge about Ring of Honor events is lacking, I seriously doubt that Brian Cage is being set up to win this title. I’ve mistaken several ROH predictions of late, so there’s a chance I’m wrong again. However, considering that this match is part of the pre-show, and with Cage’s past record of not reaching significant heights as a singles fighter, my money is on Atlantis Jr. retaining his title.
[Zero Hour] MxM Collection vs. The Acclaimed
Though The Acclaimed seems likely to win this feud, I’m rooting for the MxM Collection. I’m thrilled that they managed to sign after being cut by WWE. They’re entertaining, and aside from the common love for The Acclaimed, I personally want to see MxM victors. But for my official projection, I’m picking Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.
[Zero Hour] Anna Jay vs. Harley Cameron
Despite Harley Cameron’s ubiquitous involvement, the question remains “Who does Harley Cameron ever beat?” As the answer is usually “no one,” my choice is Anna Jay. Plus, since neither fighter hails from Washington, it puzzles me why this matchup was included in the lineup. It could have been a slot for other deserving women.
Darby Allin vs. Brody King
After suffering a substantial loss against Moxley at the Royal Rampage title match, I seriously doubt that Darby Allin is slated for another loss. Considering that Darby’s opponent, Brody King, was selected randomly, it seems like a circumstantial setup. In my opinion, Allin will convincingly defeat King.
2-Out-of-3 Falls Match: Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos
This match being a 2-out-of-3 was surprising to me. I’d guess it’ll likely follow the common pattern of the third fall being the deciding one. With Hologram having a more solid track record, my prediction leans more towards The Beast Mortos, particularly with his recent pairing with Jake “The Snake” Roberts potentially needing a promotional push.
And so on.
