Kevin Owens is currently on a warpath, having fallen out with well-known figures such as Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE extended the storyline involving the viral “fan videos” from WWE Bad Blood 2024. In these videos, Owens was seen attacking Rhodes in a parking lot scenario.
Before Meta-Four’s appearance for their Women’s Tag Team Championship attempt on this edition of WWE SmackDown, Owens surprisingly made an appearance, claiming he wasn’t supposed to be there.
Amidst a technical issue where Owens’ microphone was switched off, he reached out to Corey Graves, borrowing his headset to express that he hadn’t turned on Rhodes. Rather, he claimed that Rhodes had betrayed him.
In response, Rhodes appeared with security, including the peace-seeking Orton. However, Owens managed to hit Orton with a back elbow when the latter tried to grab him from behind. This lead to Orton retaliating by striking Owens.
Later in the program, Orton assured Rhodes that he would have a word with the disruptive Owens. Regardless, the situation escalated, ending with security separating a furious Owens from Orton.
