At WWE Bad Blood 2024, the legendary Goldberg made an unexpected appearance, resulting in a faceoff with WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
GUNTHER taunted Goldberg, who was attentively watching from the stands, triggering a reaction from the Hall of Famer. Before any physical confrontation could escalate, the security team stepped in.
In the following backstage interview, WWE Executive Vice President Paul “Triple H” Levesque hinted at the potential of Goldberg stepping back in the ring, stating, “Never say never.”
However, according to insider reports from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE doesn’t have any immediate intentions of scheduling a match between GUNTHER and Goldberg.
To further complicate things, the anticipated dream match won’t be feasible at WWE Crown Jewel 2024, where Goldberg has previously competed for big payouts. The reason? GUNTHER is already lined up to face off against Cody Rhodes.
Furthermore, there are no plans for this match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 or WrestleMania 41 either.
It’s worth noting that although the lineup for WrestleMania 41 is not fully confirmed yet, WWE usually starts its preparations in October.
