Wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura, has officially confirmed his return to the wrestling scene with a new Legends contract, ending his decades-long hiatus from the promotion. The news was first announced on Ventura’s Substack, marking his first association with WWE in more than two decades.

In Ventura’s own words, “Yes, Gov. Jesse Ventura has officially returned to the WWE! Fresh off signing a new Legends contract, “The Body” imparts his insights on his decision to reconnect with the WWE after 20 long years. Additionally, Ventura teases wrestling enthusiasts worldwide with hints of upcoming collaborations between the WWE and The Body.”

Ventura made a recent appearance at the WWE RAW event in Minnesota on July 29, where he was warmly welcomed by Triple H. Fans eagerly anticipating Ventura’s return won’t have to wait long. He is set to provide commentary for the Saturday Night’s Main Event scheduled for December.

Ventura’s journey was not always smooth in the wrestling world. He notably faced backlash from Hulk Hogan, who betrayed him when the former tried to establish a union in the wrestling industry to better talent’s rights and position. Consequently, Ventura faced a ban from WWE, and only made a brief return in 1999 after assuming the Governorship of Minnesota.
