The AEW champ Adam Copeland has extended his helping hand amidst the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, assisting in the recovery of storm victims.
Copeland calls North Carolina home, a state that has borne the brunt of the recent disturbing weather phenomena besides Florida and neighboring states.
In the media interaction for AEW WrestleDream 2024, Tony Khan made it public that Copeland was actively participating with FEMA workers in North Carolina in extracting bodies from the debris left by the Hurricane.
News was also released by Copeland about Khan’s generous act of furnishing Starlinks to the Asheville Police Department to expedite the location and extraction process of those impacted by the Hurricane.
This noble cause has been further bolstered by a fundraiser initiated by AEW’s Cash Wheeler. More details can be found and donations made here.
Tony elaborates on the plight of the hurricane victims and rectifies Adam Copeland’s remarks, maintaining he did not boast about his direct involvement with FEMA workers in their efforts to unearth bodies, during his call with Tony about extending aid to the victims.
