Maria Kanellis-Bennett has provided updates to her followers regarding her health status as she readies herself for an operation to eradicate a lump found on her adrenal gland.
Previously, we had relayed that Kanellis had slated her surgical procedure for this month to address the mass detected in August. The luminary of Ring of Honor (ROH) added that her contractual obligations with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) were drawing to a close, and she hadn’t yet been reached out to by the organization.
Kanellis uploaded a fresh video on her Instagram account to apprise followers about her wellness. In the update, she mentioned undergoing thyroid ultrasound scans to cross-verify it wasn’t expanding in correlation with the adrenal tumour.
As the date of the operation approaches, Kanellis confessed her apprehension, underpinned by worries on eventual hormonal effects, the uncertain trajectory of her profession, and the prospect of medication intake for around six weeks.
Notwithstanding her anxiety, Kanellis asserted her efforts to stay optimistic and express gratitude. She is particularly appreciative of her children’s good health and the likelihood of soon reaching the milestone of a decade’s marital union.
