In a recent virtual autograph session organized by “K&S WrestleFest”, ex-professional wrestler Gail Kim opened up about numerous subjects, including her viewpoint on why she thinks she won’t be included in the WWE Hall of Fame. Kim stated:
“I don’t believe I will be invited into the [WWE Hall of Fame]. Everything I achieved in my career, aside from becoming a champion on the day of my debut, was a result of hard work. That’s something I will keep cherishing. No retrospect can ever change that. However, looking back, I was pretty naive at the outset and when I seized that championship, it was largely due to public anticipation.”
Kim further shared, “The independent scene had only seen me as a villain, and I had never been a hero before. To transition from a heel to a champion in WWE on my day one was intense. I wasn’t prepared. It’s really challenging when you immediately peak without being ready. Your only way is down from there. There’s literally no other way if you start from the top.”
These days, Kim is part of the TNA Wrestling creative squad, where she is involved in planning and overseeing the Knockouts matches.
