Booker T has come out to back Triple H after comments he made regarding race and talent management spurred controversy following WWE Bad Blood 2024.

At a press conference following the program, Triple H, also known as “The Game,” was asked about the absence of black male wrestlers at pay-per-view events. He responded by saying that he didn’t see color.

Given that WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 marked the third successive PPV without a black male wrestler featuring in a match, and over two years have passed since a black male wrestler won a singles PPV match, his comments created quite a stir.

Recently, on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T gave his interpretation and reaction to Triple H’s remarks. He quoted,

“Has there been bias in the wrestling business, in the wrestling company before? Yes, there has… But do I think it’s race-related or anything like that, or someone being belittled on purpose? I don’t.”

Booker T went on to note that wrestling has traditionally been dominated by white wrestlers when compared to black ones, and raised the question as to why black talent weren’t showing up on pay-per-views. He said,

“What guys are we talking about that we saying that should be on the pay-per-view? Are they in any angles to warrant a reason for being on the pay-per-view?”
