In a recent conversation with WFAN, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed that a biopic focusing on his 1996 Olympic gold medal triumph is currently in development. Angle expressed great pride in the project, which narrates the journey of a youngster from Pittsburgh overcoming numerous challenges, including a neck injury, to achieve the Olympic gold. He clarified that the movie would strictly focus on his Olympic career and not his professional wrestling stint. Directors Ian and Eshom Nelms aim to create a narrative with similarities to ‘Rocky’, ‘The Fighter’ and ‘Iron Claw’. Angle, who will be involved behind the scenes, anticipates the global release. The script for the movie is complete, and the team is currently seeking investors and selecting the cast.

During a separate interview with “No Contest Wrestling,” CM Punk shed light on his generous gesture of spending a hefty amount on ice cream bars for his AEW debut audience in 2021. In Chicago, his comeback city, Punk ensured that the attendees would receive ice cream bars as an act of gratitude for their consistent support over seven years.

Candice Michelle, during a virtual autograph session for K&S Wrestlefest, shared her opinions on the “Mr. McMahon” docuseries and the ongoing controversy surrounding Vince McMahon, who is currently being investigated by federal authorities on charges of sex trafficking, rape, and more. Michelle admired the documentary and sympathized with all involved in the case. She highlighted the importance of healing from the trauma rather than assigning blame and hoped for a peaceful resolution for all parties.
