Jake Roberts, better known as ‘Jake The Snake,’ recently discussed his time at AEW, health updates, Austin 3:16, Hulk Hogan, among other topics. His interview is available for viewing in the attached YouTube link.
Elsewhere in wrestling news, Eddie Kingston opened up about his experience at the NJPW G1 Climax tournament held last year, in a sit-down with the DAVINci Report. According to Kingston, he felt at home in Japan, even joking that he may have been born in Japan in another life. He recalled that during his time there, he experienced no stress and didn’t get upset for about 30 days. He also counts his matches with Shingo Takagi and Tomohiro Ishii to be among his best.
And on another note, the “Hawk’s Nest” podcast featured Alex Zayne, who recollected the worst injury he had ever sustained. He suffered a severe damage to his genitals during a backyard show. Zayne took a curb stomp outside the ring which horribly resulted in his genitals getting crushed between the concrete and his pelvis. The aftermath of the injury was so graphic that Zayne humorously refers to the incident as the day he “broke his member.” Despite the severity of the injury, Zayne managed not to seek medical treatment, choosing instead to pack the wounded area and cover it with butterfly band-aids. His full interview is available for viewing in the attached YouTube link.
