In a recent conversation with Denise Salcedo, Kayla Becker, also known as Kayla Braxton in WWE, shared her experience of working with Paul Heyman in WWE. She also discussed the creation of their on-screen rapport and much more.

Some key points from her interview are as follows:

Discussing her initial experience with Heyman, she said: “He’s one of the most brilliant minds in wrestling. Paul’s involvement in wrestling stretches across many eras and leaderships. Our working relationship began quite naturally during the ThunderDome era in the pandemic as we were paired together on Talking Smack. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by this loud, domineering man taking up my show’s airtime, but as I continued working with him, I gradually realized that my development as a broadcaster owes him a lot.”

On the development of their on-screen chemistry, she shared: “We often improvised mini storylines during the panel discussions on Talking Smack which eventually made their way to the TV storylines. This spontaneity gradually landed us in the whole Bloodline feud. There were times when Paul would encourage me to drop the script and wing it, which was quite an adventure. It was truly a great experience working so intimately with the ‘Wise Man.’”

In other WWE news, Braun Strowman confirmed on Instagram that he incurred a torn groin injury during his “Last Monster Standing Match” with Bronson Reed on the last week’s episode of WWE RAW. He shared,

“Even Monsters Bleed!!!!! #StillStanding A few days post injury, this is our current status!! Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and soldiered through it. Just to show the world once more that I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters #BuiltDifferent #BraunStrowman #Wwe”
