Paul Heyman Says Vince McMahon Was Only Ever Loyal To WWE, JBL Praises John Cena

Netflix has released a docuseries titled “Mr. McMahon,” featuring six hour-long episodes that investigate the various sexual misconduct accusations against Vince McMahon, made by several women across his career.

In the series, McMahon openly discusses marital infidelities during his union with Linda McMahon.

During one of the episodes, Paul Heyman puts forward that the only honest commitment in McMahon’s life was his dedication to WWE.

Heyman expressed, “Vince McMahon has had one truly monogamous relationship in his entire life, and that’s with the business that he built. That’s his passion. That’s his love. That’s his master. Vince doesn’t own the business. This business owns Vince McMahon. He super serves it with his heart and his passion and his life. If that hurts his wife’s feelings, Stephanie’s feelings, Shane’s feelings, his father’s feelings, or his own feelings, those people be damned.”

In a recent dialogue with “Sportskeeda Wrestling,” WWE Legend JBL elucidates why the role of former WWE Champion John Cena was the toughest in wrestling history.

JBL articulated, “John Cena had the hardest role in wrestling history. He followed the Attitude Era where you could flip off your boss, drink beer on television, girls were out there next to nothing, sometimes nothing, and he had to lead a PG to G-rated era as the champion. I am not sure if anyone in the history of the business could have achieved that feat besides John Cena. It’s remarkable what he did. I’d love to see him secure his 17th win.”

Cena is set to initiate his WWE retirement tour in January, making periodic appearances throughout the year, with the final bout scheduled for December 2025.
