Nia Jax revealed plans about WWE’s imminent international debut on Netflix, timed a few days before the launching of Monday Night RAW on the platform, in a recent interaction.
While featuring on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast episode, Jax delved into the details of the partnership between WWE and Netflix. Recounting the conversation, she said, “I mean, it is a whole different level of WWE. Nick Khan and Triple H have championed efforts to usher this company into a new era. It’s rather astonishing, we’re on the brink of being accessible in 80% of the globe, which is scheduled for January. As I understand, January 3 marks the global unveiling of WWE on Netflix, followed by the US debut of RAW on Netflix on January 6. It’s set to be massive. It’s a first for us.”
Continuing her thoughts, she added, “Not long ago, I could pass unnoticed at airports, but now I feel like any place we venture, we get noticed…while visiting a small, local cafe recently, they exclaimed, ‘Tiffy Time sure is here!’ and then, ‘Oh darn, it’s Nia Jax.’ So, in a way, we have become almost mainstream, which is an exciting development, even though we still keep ourselves grounded. But it’s incredibly rewarding.”
However, WWE has yet to officially affirm the international launch date. On the other hand, RAW is set to make its Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
