Nia Jax, a prominent WWE personality, has revealed that the company is set to make its grand debut on the global streaming platform, Netflix, a few days ahead of Monday Night RAW’s official launch on the service.
Jax discussed the WWE-Netflix deal during a recent conversation on the popular “Busted Open Radio” podcast. She raved about the groundbreaking venture, saying, “I mean, it’s an entirely new level of WWE. Nick Khan and Triple H have pushed this company to an unprecedented scale. It’s quite impressive, we’re set to reach 80% of the globe, taking off in January. I got intel that WWE’s international debut on Netflix is set for January 3, while the U.S. will witness RAW on Netflix starting from January 6. This is monumental. This marks a first in our history.”
Elaborating further on how the Netflix deal has catalyzed WWE’s popularity, Jax elaborated, “Earlier, I could go unnoticed at airports. But now I feel like every time we go out in public, no matter where we are, we’re recognized. On one occasion, we were at a remote local coffee house and someone shouted, ‘It’s Tiffy Time!’ and noticed me, Nia Jax. We’re almost part of the mainstream now, which is quite cool, despite us still feeling very grounded. It’s truly magnificent.”
The definitive international launch date for WWE on Netflix is yet to be announced publicly. However, the premiere of RAW on Netflix has been tentatively set for January 6, 2025.
