A fresh bout has been unveiled for AEW WrestleDream 2024, specifically for the Zero Hour segment. Ring of Honor announced via their Twitter platform that Atlantis Jr. would be squaring-off against Brian Cage in the defense match for ROH World Television Championship, as part as the pre-show act.
During his tenure with Ring of Honor, Cage established himself as a two-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team champion, yet he was unable to secure any solo titles within the promotion. Similarly, he’s never clinched any singular victory in All Elite Wrestling besides being given the unrecognized FTW Championship by Taz.
Contrarily, Atlantis Jr. currently holds the championship title and has exceeded a 98-day reign, ever since he clinched victory at the CMLL Super Viernes on June 28th.
