Wrestling star Big E has recently shared his choices for his wrestling Mt. Rushmore and clarified his reasons for including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, during a conversation with “Sports Talk Philly”. The famed wrestler was asked about this in his recent interaction with the media outlet.
Here are some significant points from his interview:
Speaking on who he’d place on wrestling’s Mt. Rushmore, Big E stated, “That’s a tough one. I find making lists challenging since they often change based on my mood at the time. However, if I had to pick, I’d choose The Rock, Austin (Stone Cold Steve), John Cena, and Bret Hart.”
Discussing the profound influence of The Rock in the wrestling industry, he shared, “The contributions he has made for wrestlers can’t be ignored. He’s significantly helped to dissolve the long-standing negative perception against wrestlers trying their hand at acting. Witnessing the successful transitions of him, Bautista, and Cena has broadened the horizon for others. Wrestlers are now viewed as capable entertainers outside the wrestling ring. The Rock has set a valuable precedent for any wrestler venturing into diverse areas of the entertainment industry. Not that I don’t aspire to forge my own identity and path, but the exemplary roadmap he has provided is indeed inspiring.”
