The forthcoming MLW x CMLL event, Lucha Apocalypto, which is slated for November 9 in Chicago, IL, will feature Esfinge, as confirmed by Major League Wrestling.

In a recent discussion on “The Nikki & Brie Show,” Bryan Danielson reflected on his match with Nigel McGuinness at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He commented,

“On Wednesday, something quite amazing happened. I wrestled Nigel McGuinness. Not everyone knows Nigel, but we played vital roles in each other’s rise on the independent circuit. He’s dealt a lot with injuries and hasn’t wrestled for a while. His last singles match was 13 years ago. He’s now 48 and we wrestled at Arthur Ashe Stadium this past Wednesday. It was an incredible and special experience. For someone who hasn’t wrestled in over a decade, he was outstanding. This was beyond amazing and deeply special. Nigel did something thoughtful. He asked me to meet his daughter before the match so she knew that we were friends and we weren’t really hurting each other out there. That took me by surprise and I immediately thought, we should have certainly done this for Birdie!”

Danielson successfully defended his AEW World Championship title against McGuinness.

In a different conversation shared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Matt Hardy shares his perspective on his dynamic partnership with Jeff Hardy.

Matt explained, “In a nutshell, I would compare myself to the architect and Jeff to the rockstar. Each of us excels in our respective roles. Jeff is the creative soul, often sharing his wild ideas with me, which I find fascinating. His creative energy is more alive now than ever before and it’s palpable. I think this positive energy reflects in our interviews and performances. We are truly satisfied with our current path. We are extremely pleased with the respect and reception we’ve been getting, and honestly, our experience with TNA has been pure fun.”

Presently, The Hardys are unattached professionally and are associated with TNA Wrestling.
