Last night’s episode of WWE NXT made a grand premiere on The CW Network, attracting an audience of 895,000, based on numbers furnished by Wrestlenomics. These impressive numbers scored it a 0.26 rating among viewers aged 18-49.
In terms of viewer share, this marks quite a significant achievement. To put it into perspective, the preceding week’s episode of WWE NXT, which aired on the USA Network, garnered just 620,000 views and a 0.19 rating within the same age demographic.
What makes this feat particularly outstanding is the stiff competition NXT had to face. The latter part of the show went head-to-head with the Vice Presidential debate, which pulled in a staggering 43 million viewers. Had it not been for this scheduling clash, there’s a high chance NXT’s viewer count could have been exceedingly higher.
