The Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix has drawn an impressive 4,900,000 views within the first five days of its release.
In the recent weekly Top 10 chart disclosed by Netflix, the documentary series on the previous WWE Chairman placed 4th among English TV shows, boasting 4,900,000 streams and logging 28,200,000 hours of watch time.
The series was outpaced by three other popular shows. “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” pulled in 19,500,000 views and 153,800,000 hours in its second week. “Nobody Wants This” came in next with 10,300,000 views and 45,700,000 hours, followed by the limited series “The Perfect Couple” with 6,000,000 views and 30,700,000 hours.
Netflix estimates its aggregate viewership numbers by dividing the total hours watched by the overall runtime of the program. Taking the case of “Mr. McMahon”, the show runs for a total of 342 minutes (equivalent to 5.7 hours), and hence, the total views of 4,900,000 were deduced by dividing 28,200,000 hours by 5.7.
