Producer David Shoemaker, on a recent episode of “The Masked Man Show,” divulged information about potential interviews that never materialized during the production of the “Mr. McMahon” docuseries. The series, providing a deep dive into Vince McMahon’s professional journey as the former Chairman of WWE, is presently streaming on Netflix.

Notable insights from Shoemaker’s conversation on the podcast include:

– He expressed regret over the inability to interview some of his preferred subjects due to a multitude of reasons. For instance, insiders like Jim Ross and Jerry Brisco, who had a close affiliation with Vince, were among the few he had wished to converse with. Shoemaker stated, “Certain individuals, obviously, were on our primary list of interviewees but could not participate due to an already filled schedule. It would have been ideal to include everyone’s perspective.”

– The inevitable time constraints also impacted the docuseries production. Centennial figures such as Dusty Rhodes and others who passed away before the interviews could be organized were sorely missed. Shoemaker lamented, “The process was somewhat of a race against time. It would have been wonderful to capture a narrative on film by Dusty Rhodes that would corroborate Vince’s offer to him for the Hulk Hogan position.”

In a separate interview with “The Wrestling Classic,” wrestler Bron Breakker talked about the speculative return of his father, Rick Steiner, and uncle, Scott Steiner, to WWE.

Key points from the Breaker’s interview include:

– Breakker speculated on the possibilities of Steiner brothers stepping into the ring for a pay-per-view event. He said, “We can include them if creatively suitable and necessary. Personally, I would prefer to reserve such a moment for a significant event like a pay-per-view or PLE.”

– On probing about his father or uncle getting back to wrestling, Breakker admitted that Rick Steiner is not keen on rejoining the wrestling world, but Scott Steiner might be more open to the idea. He said, “It would be exciting if they could do something with me. We have this option in our back pocket. We’ll have to wait and see how it turns out.”

It is noteworthy that the Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott Steiner) have already cemented their legacy in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
