WWE NXT powerhouse Trick Williams is always considering a move to the main roster, despite his current success. Having once held the NXT World Championship, Williams often contemplates the possibility of making it big on WWE RAW or SmackDown.
During a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, Williams confessed to frequently envisioning himself starring on RAW or SmackDown. He expressed his thoughts, saying,
“I think about it all the time, but I’m happy where my feet are. I mean, NXT is on fire right now, arguably one of the better times NXT has ever seen. So with that, I’m proud to be here. I’m proud to be the face of NXT. Why are we going to CW? Why we got the biggest TV deal NXT has ever gotten, why we’re doing this traveling and stuff now. I’m part of it, and it feels good to say, hey, we party something special here.”
Earlier this year, Williams graced WWE SmackDown, leading to a flurry of speculation around a potential roster shift.
In the upcoming episode of WWE NXT, Williams will tackle current NXT World Champion, Ethan Page, for a title duel monitored by RAW superstar CM Punk.
This thrilling episode will also serve as WWE NXT’s debut on The CW Network, set at Chicago, Illinois’ renowned Allstate Arena.
