In a recent exchange with “They Made Their Way to the Ring,” ex-WWE Superstar, Layla, opened about her thoughts on potential initiation into the WWE Hall of Fame and her potential co-inductee, Michelle McCool as LayCool. She indicated being okay if the induction doesn’t materialize.
Layla was questioned about her possible Hall of Fame introduction during this interaction. Her reply was quite grounded as she said, “Certainly, it would be a vote of confidence for my profession or an affirmation that my career made a significant impact in WWE. I’m alright, and I’m trying to put this delicately to avoid upsetting anyone. I’m fine if I’m not ushered into the Hall of Fame. I perceive that there are scores of wrestlers who are yet to be inducted but are fully deserving. If such a moment doesn’t come for me, I perfectly apprehend that.”
Layla went on to add, “I’m at peace with retiring, acknowledging that I had a rewarding WWE career, got a chance to witness all that I did and accumulated the life experiences that I gained. I’m okay with it. Nonetheless, it would indeed be a pleasure. I’d be delighted to be inducted alongside Michelle. That partnership, I believe, was the pinnacle and a significant high point of my WWE career. I would be thrilled to see LayCool inducted. But, if it doesn’t occur, I’m content with that.”
