During her conversation with “They Made Their Way To The Ring”, ex-WWE star Layla enlightened on the recent proposal she received about joining the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. She left the door open for future participation.
A gist of the discussion points from the interview can be seen below:
Layla touched upon the proposition of competing in the 2022 Women’s Rumble. She remembered it to be a legends’ edition. She stated, “I was asked to one. I remember it was a legends’ one. I was approached, but I was totally detached at that time. I haven’t looked into Evolution. I will examine it. I viewed the Royal Rumble to which I was invited when Kelly Kelly and Melina returned. I did see that one.”
When queried about whether she’s willing for a future Royal Rumble entry, she responded cryptically, “Never say never.”
Recently, Jaida Parker vocalized her aspiration of competing against Jade Cargill in a WWE match.
During her guest appearance on the “Good Karma Wrestling” podcast, the NXT performer painted a potential fight with Cargill as an ideal circumstance for her.
Expressing her views, Parker stated, “That would be an accomplishment for me, if I could phrase it correctly. As I observe her path, I’m like, ‘You were just around the corner, weren’t you?’ I see the talent she has molded herself into. I have nothing but admiration for that.”
She further added, “When she arrived at the PC, she demonstrated an eagerness to learn, she’s got the desire, you know? It triggered the appetite in me because I was like, yeah, let’s go. I may not be the masterpiece that she is at present since she resembles an action figure. But I aspire to reach there, to face her, and say, ‘I achieved it. I made it.’ Her, along with Bianca [Belair], Natalya, and others. But for me, she’s in the top spot at this moment.”
