On a recent episode of the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Shawn Spears revealed intriguing details about his expanded role in the WWE. Known for his wrestling talent, Spears is not only maintaining his role in the ring, but has also assumed the position of a producer.
Following his exit from AEW, Spears has re-involved himself with WWE, more specifically, WWE NXT. Beyond his presence as a wrestler, his increased duties now require him to work behind the scenes as well.
Spears commented, “Yeah. My responsibilities are more than what you see on camera. I relish in that opportunity. I enjoy it. It’s a learning curve. It’s a lot, but being on TV for as long as I have and being able to multi-task on live television with 15 things happening at once that you have to aware of, I feel that has helped me behind the scenes, being able to adapt quickly…”
In an interview on Maven’s YouTube channel, former WWE Superstar Muhammad Hassan shared his experiences of partnering with Daivari to compete against wrestling giants Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21. Hassan reflected on his journey,
“Nick wasn’t wanted by WWE to be a wrestler, he was wanted to do what he did. He was great at it… So to be able to go out to WrestleMania and work with Nick Dinsmore, with Hulk Hogan is just the highlight of my career…”
