In a recent guest appearance on the renowned “Good Karma Wrestling” podcast, the much-admired Cody Rhodes voiced his thoughts about Dominik Mysterio’s evolution in the wrestling world over the coming years.
Mysterio, up until this point, has managed to capture only one individual title in the WWE, which is the NXT North American Championship. Dominik’s achievements also include being a former Tag Team Champion, a title he won alongside his father, Rey Mysterio.
Highlighting his feelings, Rhodes expressed, “I’m very impressed with Bron. Big ups to Jey for his performance. His narrative with Jey, however, is merely one phase of his evolution. His journey, I foresee, will be onwards and upwards. Reflecting on another performer, not my personal favorite, and a person with whom I am not very familiar, Dom Mysterio strikes as intriguing. His journey from being a child involved in an on-air battle for his very custody to now being a significant contributor to WWE is quite inspiring. Whether he gets cheered or booed by the crowd, his contribution cannot be dismissed. Watching him and Liv evolve through their respective narratives is truly remarkable. Dom Mysterio is the kind of performer and story we’d be interested in watching and following. If I am to tune into WWE 15 years from now, I would expect to witness Dom Mysterio in a completely novel light — a full evolution of his character.”
