In a recent discussion with The Daily Gazette, Tiffany Stratton, currently holding the Ms. Money in The Bank title, expressed her desire and excitement to square off against prominent Superstars, specifically highlighting Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia.
During the chat, Stratton expressed, “Yeah, I definitely think that once I lock up with Stephanie [Vaquer] or Giulia, I feel like it’s just more people to have amazing matches with, I’m super excited for them. I’m super excited for the women’s division and for them to eventually come up and have matches with some of the best women’s wrestlers in the world. I think it’s just something that we can all relish in.”
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, October 1, NXT World Championship will witness Ethan Page defending his title against Trick Williams. The match will be aired on WWE NXT’s inaugural episode on The CW Network.
CM Punk has been brought on board to serve as the exclusive guest referee for the match. The event will see Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois buzzing with action.
During his appearance on a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, Page referred to himself as the “old man” of NXT, given his age of 34 years.
While talking about this, he said, “Dude, I feel old. I’m training with 20-year-old college athletes that are freaks of nature. That’s what this place is: breeding freaks of nature. And then here’s my broken down, 34-year-old a*s in training and working out with these guys looking around, like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m the old guy now.’”
