During the recent WWE Friday Night SmackDown episode, two significant changes to the WWE Bad Blood 2024 match lineup were revealed. Bayley overcame Naomi to secure a title shot against Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship. Separately, it was declared that the pay-per-view event would have official hosts.

Current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, have been designated as the “official hosts” for the WWE Bad Blood event. A brief video package revealing this news also hinted at the possibility of some surprise VIP guests making an appearance.

The nature of Belair and Cargill’s roles at the event or how they will contribute to the show has not been hinted at. It’s likely they will mainly be there to introduce one or two famous personalities. Speculations suggest either a collaboration with Cardi B, a reference derived from the marketing for the two-night WWE SummerSlam 2025 event set to be held at MetLife Stadium next year, featuring Bianca Belair, or Metro Boomin. Metro Boomin featured in the promotional materials for Bad Blood alongside Cody Rhodes. As always, unpredictability reigns in WWE, especially as the event unfolds at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia for Bad Blood.

As announced by WWE via a tweet: “See you in Atlanta! WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions @BiancaBelairWWE and @Jade_Cargill will be the official hosts of #WWEBadBlood!! 🔥#SmackDown”

As of now, the confirmed lineup for WWE Bad Blood includes:

– Hell In A Cell Match: CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre
– WWE Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan challenging Rhea Ripley (Dominik Mysterio will be confined to a shark cage)
– WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax versus Bayley
– Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu
– Damian Priest pitted against Finn Balor
– Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, serving as event hosts
