The special Grand Slam episode of AEW Dynamite experienced a surge in ratings and viewers.

On the night, the primary rival was the WNBA match between the Connecticut Sun and Indiana Fever, which featured up-and-coming star, Caitlin Clark. This sports event attracted a staggering 2,537,000 viewers and held a 0.55 ESPN rating. Nonetheless, AEW Dynamite held its own, taking third place for the night on cable and second in its slot, displaced only by the aforementioned WNBA game.
Furthermore, a Minnesota Lynx vs Phoenix Mercury late match drew 1,216,000 viewers with a 0.33 rating. Meanwhile, on network TV, ‘Survivor’ prevailed as the most-viewed show with 4,466,000 viewers and a 0.72 rating.
Reflecting on the previous week, AEW Dynamite observed a 2.5% increase in viewership with an uptick of 13.3% and 26.7% in the 18-49 and 18-34 demographics respectively. However, when comparing to the same period last year, there was a decrease in viewership with a drop of 17.9% in viewers, 6.6% in the 18-49 demographic and 11.6% in the 18-34 demographic.
AEW Dynamite garnered viewers that consisted of 76,000 men and 38,000 women in the 18-34 age group, along with 130,000 men and 70,000 women in the 35-49 range. Among the 18-49 demographic, males represented 60.4%
