Professional wrestler and entertainer MJF, renowned for his tenure with AEW, is set to join the ensemble for the upcoming Netflix film, Happy Gilmore 2. This anticipated follow-up plans to continue the comedic exploits of an unpredictable hockey player turned golf pro, as broken by Deadline.

The sequel to the memorable comedy will star Adam Sandler reprising his role as the eponymous Gilmore, who pivots to the game of golf in a noble effort to prevent his grandmother from housing eviction.

Before this, MJF made an appearance as Lance Von Erich in the 2023 motion picture The Iron Claw, and took on the mantle of Executive Producer. Unfortunately, his filmed scenes did not make the final cut of the produced movie.

In a foray into voice acting, the ex-AEW World Champion lent his voice to the character of Killer Croc/Waylon Jones in the animated crossover Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part Two.

In his most recent outing, MJF triumphed over Daniel Garcia at the AEW All Out 2024 event. However, the victorious moment was short-lived as he faced an unexpected attack from Garcia post-match.
