In a recent interview on “The Breakfast Club”, wrestler Mercedes Mone expressed interest in partnering with rapper Nicki Minaj in the ring. In response to being asked about potential celebrity competitors, Mone named Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé, saying, “I would like my tag team partner to be Nicki Minaj because I love her. Who would I love to wrestle? I might have to wrestle like a Kim Kardashian or even just Beyoncé to see if she can even throw it down. I would wrestle Beyoncé, the queen of it all.” Remarkably, she added that she would even be willing to let Beyoncé claim the championship.
Furthermore, PJ Black, also known as Justin Gabriel, guested on the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast where he spoke about the development of his WWE character and his relationship with the late Bray Wyatt. He said, “I feel like the older I get, the character’s evolving all the time. You have to evolve, or you get left behind. I pitch so many cool characters.” He added that he had even pitched an unconventional shaman character which Bray Wyatt had helped on. Speaking about his friendship with Wyatt, he said that Wyatt had been one of his first friends in Florida and he appreciated Wyatt’s input on his character development.
