TNA Wrestling recently declared the postponement of their upcoming TV tapings scheduled for this weekend, in response to Hurricane Helene. The confirmation was made on Wednesday announcing that the shows, initially intended for September 27th and 28th in Spartanburg, South Carolina, will now be filmed on September 29th and 30th.

The official announcement is as follows:

“TNA Wrestling Re-Schedules Shows In Spartanburg, S.C. Due To Hurricane Helene. We can confirm the shows set for this Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, will now take place on Sunday & Monday, September 29-30, at the same location. With severe weather anticipated around the Southeast, these changes have been made for safety reasons. The re-scheduled show timings will be published on tnawrestling.com and all social media platforms. Patrons with tickets for Friday can use them for Sunday’s show, and Saturday’s tickets will be valid for Monday’s performance.

Local schools have also called off Friday classes due to the foreseen weather changes brought by Hurricane Helene.

The shows in Spartanburg will be utilized for TNA’s weekly TV show, iMPACT!, aired every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on AXS TV in the U.S. and Fight Network in Canada.

All TNA stars, including Nic Nemeth, Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Eric Young, Ash By Elegance and Moose will make their appearance at the Spartanburg sessions. Other scheduled appearances include Mike Santana, AJ Francis, Josh Alexander, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey), Jake Something, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, PCO, Xia Brookside and others.”

In a separate note, Kenny Omega and Hiroshi Tanahashi recently got together for a training session. The reunion’s trailer has been released by New Japan Pro Wrestling. When it will air, however, remains to be disclosed. At present, Omega is not available for wrestling due to diverticulitis.
