During a recent feature on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, AEW fighter Deonna Purrazzo expressed her ambitions within the AEW women’s realm, including her desire to claim the AEW Women’s World Champion title.

Purrazzo shared some insights on the podcast, including:

On her aspirations to be AEW Women’s World Champion, Purrazzo stated, “Of course I want to become a world champion at AEW. I was unfairly dismissed from the AEW Women’s World Championship earlier this year, so Mariah May, you’re in my sights. But we’ve seen major improvements in our women’s division and whether I hold the championship or not, my ultimate goal is to continually elevate the division to main event status. I want to show that women merit more opportunities and are capable of headlining major events.”

Concerning AEW’s future expansion, she said, “AEW has only been around for five years, so there’s plenty of growth to come, not just in the coming year, but in the next five years. My goal is to help foster an environment that allows women to succeed and tell stories that convey why women deserve more recognition. That’s my ambition in any company I join.”

In another recent online signing session with Captain’s Corner, The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) spoke about their experiences with FTR in AEW and the respect they have gained.

Some standout comments from their signing session include:

On collaborating with FTR, they mentioned, “We obtained some of their respect and in turn, they earned some of ours. We are learning from FTR, but interestingly they are learning from us as well. The combination of us, I reckon, could form a formidable team.”

Discussing potential clashes with FTR they pondered, “Imagine FTR and Outrunners colliding, it’s certainly going to be a spectacle. You might need some cool sunglasses or even a blast shield for that explosive encounter.”

It has been reported that The Outrunners have signed contracts with AEW.
