Netflix’s recent docu-series, Mr. McMahon, is now accessible for streaming on Netflix.

One particular episode sheds light on WWE’s former Women’s Champion Sable, whose real name is Rena Lesnar. For those who might not be familiar, Sable mounted a major legal case against WWE in 1999 where she accused the organization of sexual harassment and creating an unsafe work environment for her. She sought damages worth 0 million in the lawsuit, but it was ultimately settled privately outside of court. Following this, Sable made a return to WWE in 2003, assuming an on-air character role.

During the course of the series, McMahon confessed that he “doesn’t recollect much of the specifics” from her lawsuit proceedings, acknowledging only that she “did make a comeback at some point.” In his words,

“The details of Sable’s subsequent lawsuit don’t clearly come back to me. All I primarily recall is that she returned to join us, and that’s it…” On Sable’s re-engagement with WWE, he was questioned about the on-screen relationship between himself and her. Laughing at the mention, McMahon replied, “Associated with whom? Myself? [Laughs] Indeed.”

In a revealing conversation with Playboy magazine in 2001, McMahon openly confirmed having a string of extramarital affairs while still wedded to Linda McMahon.
