Professional wrestler Ricky Starks is eager to make a return to the ring, however, there is ambiguity over when and if he’ll make a comeback in AEW.
Starks has not seen any action in AEW since March of the current year. Regardless, it was clarified by Tony Khan in August that Starks, a previous tag champion, is still under contract with the organization.
In a recent message shared on his Twitter, Starks didn’t refer directly to his ongoing break from AEW but did express his readiness to wrestle.
Starks’ tweet, in which he shoes his grit and determination for wrestling reads, “Hard work and nothing less. Ready to wrestle because that’s what I was meant to do. That and be #Absolute 🕺.”
Speculation suggests that AEW assumes Starks may want to part ways with the organization, which could be one of the reasons for him not featuring on TV presently.
Starks shares a strong bond with several members of WWE, including the reigning champion Cody Rhodes as well as Women’s Tag Team Champion and close ally Jade Cargill.
