In recent news as covered by eWn, the consideration of the relocation of WWE’s Performance Center from Orlando, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada by WWE has been a topic of much discussion.
During an internal meeting at WWE HQ on August 27, the news of this proposed move was allegedly announced by Endeavor President Mark Shapiro. However, this statement was later contradicted by internal sources within WWE who denied such an announcement, suggesting that the information may only be accurate if another meeting had transpired.
In the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio episode, news came from Bryan Alvarez stating that instead of shifting the Performance Center, it appears WWE intends to establish a second facility in Las Vegas, all while keeping the original center operating in Orlando.
The assignment of specific talents to train at each center still remains a matter of speculation, with detailed plans yet to be revealed by the WWE. The goal, however, is reportedly to operate two distinct and separate facilities.
In addition, wrestling reporter Dave Meltzer has stated that the establishment of a second Performance Center in Las Vegas won’t materialize in the near future.
As things stand, WWE is yet to make an official declaration regarding the opening of a Las Vegas Performance Center.
