The anticipation is building for Rhea Ripley as she looks forward to witnessing Dominik Mysterio’s confinement in a shark cage during her battle against Liv Morgan in the WWE Bad Blood 2024 to be held next month.
The recent episode of WWE RAW revealed an intriguing twist. Mysterio will be hoisted above the ring throughout the Women’s World Championship match between Ripley and Morgan.
In an exclusive conversation for WWE RAW, when queried if Mysterio’s ostracization in the cage would level the playing field, Ripley stated:
“I don’t believe Dom’s presence has any significant bearing, but there’s one thing to note, he’s slippery, oily, and grubby. He’s been endeavoring to assist his petite blonde partner in dishonest ways of late. I don’t grasp the reason for this behavior having never required such assistance. So, he’s actually exercising a bit of his mental faculties, which is a refreshing change. However, it won’t prevent the unavoidable.”
Ripley further revealed that, as Mysterio, the previous North American Champion has acrophobia, he would likely be uncomfortable in the cage. She added,
“Dom is intensely scared of many things, with heights being a primary fear. I would rate that fear at a solid ten. But he’s also heavily claustrophobic, which I find uproariously funny!”
The much-awaited WWE Bad Blood event is scheduled for October 5, in Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena. It will mark the return of the Bad Blood pay-per-view event, following a hiatus since 2004.
