The streaming platform Hulu will not be able to host WWE content once its current licensing agreement comes to an end. Any material from WWE SmackDown has already been taken down, and, barring an extension of their agreement, additional successive programs will be removed. These shows include Monday Night RAW, NXT, NXT Level Up, WWE Main Event, Total Divas, Total Bellas, WWE Superstars, and Miz and Mrs.
The current license agreement ends this Wednesday. A representative from Hulu apologized and noted, “Apologies! Streaming rights vary from show to show and are based on a variety of factors. Unfortunately, our rights to stream WWE Friday Night SmackDown have expired, and beginning September 25th WWE programming will no longer be available on Hulu. We’ll share your feedback.”
The remaining WWE content on Hulu will be the reality series “Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez” and any material produced in partnership with A&E.
Hulu made this announcement public in a tweet from their support handle, “@hulu_support”, dated September 16, 2024, which also reiterates their apology.
