In a recent exchange with “WFAN Daily,” the chief executive of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Tony Khan, spoke extensively about his enterprise’s future direction. This includes the possibility of transitioning AEW content to the MAX streaming platform.
Khan revealed that announcements about upcoming collaborations with MAX are in the pipeline for AEW.
In his words, “We are planning to explore a broad range of potential opportunities with Max. This may entail a variety of aspects. Currently, our shows are made available through TBS and TNT. Dynamite, Collision, Rampage, as well as pay-per-views – all are under consideration. I can’t emphasize enough how thrilled we are to have TBS and TNT aiding us with the terrific work we’re doing. As for the pay-per-views, discussions over streaming have been highly productive. This service was previously provided through Bleacher Report. However, with the sunset of Bleacher Report, we’re shifting our pay-per-views to alternative platforms. We’re building towards some exciting disclosures about where to source these and the future prospects with Max. As I’ve expressed time and time again, I am thoroughly confident that AEW will continue to be a part of TBS and TNT for the foreseeable future.”
In another update, AEW recently declared three novel TV tapings to be held later this year – tickets for these events are available for purchase this week.
Here’s the schedule of the upcoming tapings:
Accounts include a Dynamite show at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT (scheduled for November 13)
A Dynamite event at the Fishers Event Center in Indianapolis, IN (set for December 4)
Finally, a Collision spectacle at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO (expected on December 12)
In a Twitter post, All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) announced the new events on September 23, 2024.
