MJF and Dominik Mysterio may not share the same wrestling platform, but WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes they share certain similarities.
During a recent episode of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Bischoff sang praises for Dominik, who made his wrestling debut with WWE around four years ago. He stated,
“When I first witnessed Dom in action on WWE TV, I thought, ‘At least he’s grasping this opportunity. Wait a minute, he’s more than just grabbing it, he’s capitalizing on it. He’s extremely effective as a heel.”
Bischoff further explained that, much like a specific former AEW World Champion, Dominik naturally excels as a villain. He mentioned,
“MJF, I believe, relishes playing a villain. Few do because it contradicts human nature. As I mentioned in a previous episode, those who completely absorb this role and relish in their villainous glory are a sight to behold, and Dom fits this description. He thoroughly enjoys playing the role of a villain.
“He is fearless, not so much in terms of his in-ring actions, but more so as a character. From my observation, I could tell he’s unafraid to do what he must to get his character across.”
Currently, Mysterio is part of The Judgment Day, flourishing as a villain in his new storyline relationship with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
On the other hand, MJF has been recently involved in a rivalry with Daniel Garcia. Even though MJF emerged victorious at All Out, Garcia assaulted the ‘Scumbag’ post-match.
