Recently in a chat with Sports Illustrated, WWE superstar Carmelo Hayes expressed that he has unfinished business with Andrade. In the past few months, both men have squared off five times in WWE SmackDown for the chance to contest for the United States Championship. While Andrade emerged victorious, Hayes suggested that he isn’t ready to let the rivalry end.

Hayes shared insights from his interview, remarking on the series with Andrade: “It provided an opportunity for us – two athletes who were directionless at that time. We’re two talented guys on the roster, and we weren’t sure how far the feud would go. But personally, I’m not happy about losing five times, especially when there can be seven matches. Other guys have had seven match series, so why not us? I’m still getting the hang of things. It’s okay to lose occasionally, but when I fully understand the game, I’m aiming for the top spot. In my view, whether he’s up against me or L.A. Knight for the U.S. title, it doesn’t make it the final conflict.”

On the “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shared his thoughts on recent format changes in Monday Night RAW. According to Prinze, the shift of Monday Night RAW to a two-hour format till the end of the year could lead to talent cuts.

Affirming his opinion, Prinze stated, “They’re moving it and cutting it down to two… I predict they will not employ as many wrestlers because there won’t be sufficient time… This implies fewer matches, segments and storylines which won’t be cost-effective for them with a full roster.”

Prinze further commented that this could potentially offer more opportunities for wrestlers with other brands: “They are currently owned by TKO… and they’ll consider ‘This wrestler’s not being utilized, let’s cut them,’ thereby opening up chances for those wrestlers to switch to AEW or other brands.”
