It has been a significant span of time since Wardlow graced our screens on All Elite Wrestling (AEW). During his tenure at AEW, Wardlow has experienced a rollercoaster of opportunities, only to witness them being snatched away again. There was a point when it looked like a major feud was brewing between him and Adam Cole, however, the plans were stalled as Cole has temporarily stepped away from the ring.
Several key figures within AEW feel that Wardlow is rightly suited for the center stage, yet there isn’t any immediate plan for him to feature on the channel. Interestingly, Wardlow was seen at the Jacksonville Jaguars game on the 15th of September looking fit and hearty, pointing out that an injury isn’t the reason behind his absence.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that Wardlow is simply, “just one of those guys not being used.”
AEW, known for its impressive ensemble of wrestlers, often rotates its talent. It remains uncertain when Wardlow will complete his return on the creative front. His most recent bout occurred during the March 13th episode of AEW Dynamite.
