In a recent female WWE Speed match, IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria crossed paths. Now, Valkyria declares her desires to spend considerable time with the star of Damage CTRL. During a fresh interview conducted by Denise Salcedo, SKY was questioned about her experiences in WWE Speed and her preferences for an opponent in a contrasting Iron Woman match. Responses were sought and she gave a compelling reply,
“Competing against IYO [SKY] would indeed be an outstanding experience. She’s indeed incredible. I’ve been an ardent follower of her career long before I officially joined the WWE. Her extensive experience is unparalleled, and it’s simply extraordinary to work alongside her.”
Valkyria and SKY both have established histories as former WWE NXT Women’s Champions, Valkyria savoured the taste of victory earlier this year. Following her auspicious performance, Valkyrie was summoned to RAW as part of this year’s Draft and subsequently advanced to the final face-off in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Unfortunately, she faced defeat against Nia Jax.
On the other hand, SKY relinquished her WWE Women’s Championship title at WrestleMania 40. She then transitioned to RAW, with the remaining members of Damage CTRL.
