When discussing the decrease in house shows by WWE, he noted: “If their primary revenue is generated from TV and not the actual live events, then the motivation to conduct them may diminish. I could envision it evolving into a purely television product if that’s where the primary financial returns lie.”
Regarding the intensive WWE schedule during his tenure with the company, he said, “We had a grueling schedule with four house shows every week, along with two television broadcasts. Not everyone was scheduled for both broadcasts, but I frequently was. Add in occasional PPVs or even international tours that would replace any free days. It was quite taxing. I’ve heard people mention that the company has become more understanding when wrestlers need time off. Although, I am unsure whether this would effectually reflect in a change of schedule.”
